What information do we collect?
OnRamp collects information identifying you including your name, address, e-mail address, company affiliation, IP address, information regarding service configuration and selection or other information that may identify you individually.
OnRamp does not intentionally collect or maintain, and does not want you to provide, any information regarding your medical or health condition, race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or other sensitive information.
How do we collect information?
OnRamp uses a variety of mechanisms to collect information, including:
- Asking for you to provide it through our website, over the phone, or in other written or verbal communications.
- Via third party information providers
- Automated technical means on our website to track your behavior.
What do we do with the information?
We primarily use the information about you to market our services to you or to provide support for services which you have purchased.
We do not sell your information to third parties. We may provide information to business partners for the purpose of jointly marketing our services to you or for the purpose of supporting the services we have sold to you. In cases of onward transfer to third parties of data of EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-US Privacy Shield, OnRamp is potentially liable.
Your personal information may also be transferred in connection with a sale, merger, transfer or exchange of OnRamp’s business or assets.
OnRamp may be required by law enforcement agencies or judicial authorities to provide personal data on individuals. In matters involving a danger to personal or public safety OnRamp may voluntarily share personal data with appropriate governmental authorities. We also may be required to disclose an individual’s personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. In circumstances involving a breach of OnRamp’s Acceptable Use Policy, OnRamp may share personal data with governmental authorities and with the companies that provide Internet connectivity to OnRamp. OnRamp may also disclose personal data where necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating OnRamp’s Acceptable Use Policy or other user policies, to operate OnRamp’s services properly, or to protect OnRamp or its customers, or to enforce our agreements with you.

Our sites have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control. We use commercial industry-standard methods to protect your information from unauthorized access. Among other techniques, we store such information on a computer behind our “firewall” in a secure location. Of course, there is no such thing as perfect security, and whatever the level of security, it is always possible that security breaches could occur. OnRamp is not responsible for damages caused by the intentional wrongful actions of others that result in a breach of security.
Opting Out of Communications
You may remove yourself from our marketing lists or prevent us from disclosing your information to a third party or for using it for a purpose other than specified here without your prior consent by sending e-mail requesting such a change to email@example.com.
OnRamp shall only process Personal Information in a way that is compatible with and relevant for the purpose for which it was collected or authorized by the individual. To the extent necessary for those purposes, Company shall take reasonable steps to ensure that Personal Information is accurate, complete, current and reliable for its intended use.
OnRamp acknowledges that EU individuals have the right to access the personal information/data that we maintain about them. OnRamp shall allow an individual access to their Personal Information and allow the individual to correct, amend or delete inaccurate information, except where the burden or expense of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to the privacy of the individual in the case in question or where the rights of persons other than the individual would be violated. An individual who seeks access, or who seeks to correct, amend, or delete inaccurate data, should direct his query to firstname.lastname@example.org. If requested to remove data, we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
OnRamp Customers Who Hold Private Data
OnRamp’s services include acting as an Internet Service Provider, a Managed Services Provider and a Cloud Services Provider to customers. When providing these services, OnRamp does not determine the purposes and means of processing any private data which our customers may place on those services. When providing these services, OnRamp is acting merely as a “conduit” for data handled by third parties. Although OnRamp educates its customers on the methods to reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, availability and integrity of data, each individual OnRamp customer determines the criticality of their data, identifies the appropriate methods to protect the data and directs OnRamp to assist, when necessary, in protecting the data as the Customer deems fit.
Unless required by legal action to do otherwise, OnRamp does not directly respond to third party requests pertaining to private data held by OnRamp’s customers on OnRamp’s services or in its facilities. In such an instance, OnRamp notifies the appropriate customer of such request and, at the direction of the customer, facilitates the Customer’s appropriate response to the request by delivering services to the customer as detailed in our agreements with the customer.

If a complaint or dispute cannot be resolved through our internal process, we agree to dispute resolution using (an independent resource mechanism) as a third party resolution provider.
