Layaway Policy and Ordering Instructions

Layaway Policy:

All items are eligible for layaway. There is no handling charge or interest applied to a layaway with Depression Delights.

If entire purchase is under $50, you must pay 50% down and the balance in 30 days.

If entire purchase is over $50, but less than $300, down payment will be 1/3 of the total. Balance will be split into two equal payments and must be paid within 60 days.

For purchases over $300, down payment will be 1/4 of the total. Balance will be split into three equal payments and must be paid off within 90 days.

Down payment must be received within one week from the date you are quoted a payment schedule or the layaway agreement will be cancelled. A ten day grace period will apply to all subsequent layaway payments. Failure to follow the payment schedule will cause the item(s) to be returned to stock and result in a loss of prior payment(s). No layaway will be returned to stock without proper notification to the buyer.

Shipping costs will be added to the order total and paid as part of the layaway payments.

All layaway purchases are held by the seller until balance is paid in full.

Layaway payments may be made by check, money order or credit card.

Layway ordering Instructions:

  1. E-mail to pam@onr.com or phone (512) 388-9934 to check on availability of the items you are interested in placing on layaway. Refer to the Item Code listed (if applicable) in the description of each item.

  2. If the item is still available, it will be marked as sold and a return e-mail will be sent with your layaway total including shipping charge. The item will be held for one week. If we do not receive down payment within one week (foreign orders are given special consideration) then the sold tag will be removed and it will be up for sale once again. If the item you are interested in is already sold, you will be notified as soon as possible.

  3. After I have supplied you with a layaway total, send down payment to:

  4. If you would like to pay your down payment by CREDIT CARD, include this information with your item inquiry and additional information will be included in the return e-mail or during your phone order.

  5. It is the buyer's responsibility to keep track of subsequent payments and to remit them in a timely manner. However, we will provide reminder notices when layaway payments fall behind. If payments are not received prior to the end of the ten day grace period, a certified letter will be mailed to the customer as notification of our intent to return the layaway items to stock.
