The Texas Tank Truck Carriers Association, Inc. held its First Annual Golf Tournament on Wednesday, September 30, 1998, at the Southwyck Golf Course in Pearland, Texas. The tournament was a big success with nearly 100 golfers. The tournament was followed by a dinner and awards ceremony. Door prizes were awarded to all golfers and trophies were awarded to the winning teams.
We want to thank the Golf Committee for their time and effort organizing the tournament. The committee was Chairperson Teresa Gullette of Groendyke Transport, Inc., Bill Reagan of Andrews Transport, Inc., and Gary Doggett of Service Transport Company. They all contributed their time and ideas to make the tournament a success.
Proceeds from this tournament are being donated to Texas A&M for improvements in the TEEX Occupational and Environmental Safety Training Division.
