Video Recording of Events

We can record events for you, on a resources-available basis. Contact the Multimedia Ministry to discuss your project and get on the production calendar.

Capabilities include DVCAM and Hi-8 recording, multi-camera recording*, digital non-linear editing, compositing, and titling. We go on location!

We can deliver the finished program on VHS, VHS-C, SVHS, SVHS-C, Hi-8, DV, DVCAM, and Multimedia CD. DVD capability is planned, and possibly also VCD. Contact us if you have a need.

* Note: our multi-camera capabilities are not "live" multi-camera switching. We use multiple cameras, then synchronize the video and edit together to look like a multi-camera "live" production.

Note on personal presentations or events...

You are welcome to contact the Westover Multimedia Ministry to see if someone is available to help you with a personal project, such as a wedding, school project, team video, etc. This type of project will be considered on a resource-available basis—but be warned: resources are not often available. Multimedia resources are not guaranteed to be available for weddings, showers, etc. even if they are held at the building. Requests will be considered on an individual basis.
