These are some photos taken over the past 12 years showing how this car has changed. It started out as a light silver V6 powered 264GL with a manual 4 speed / OD transmission and plain steel 14" wheels. I'm still looking for some photos of it in it's original condition. I purchased it in 1987 from a body shop where the previous owner had abandon it when he could not afford to pay for the work that had been done to it. The following three photos show the car as of 1988 after I had given it it's first re-paint and new 14" MSW wheels. Still had the old V6 then too!
The next three photos show it being prepared at Austin Corvette Restoration for it's current paint job.
Notice the Corvettes in the background. It was kind of weird seeing this Volvo being prepared in the middle of all those 'vettes.
