Welcome to the Morgue…a site devoted to the display of mid-20th Century graphics originally deemed worthy of trash bins and landfills. Engineered for an extremely short life span, countless comic books, pulp magazines, paperbacks, movie posters, matchbook covers, etc. have met their preordained demise. The fact that so many examples have survived is a testament to foresighted early collectors and slothful homeowners unwilling for decades to clean their attic or basement.

You'll find the samples within occasionally tasteless, but none-the-less liberated from the yoke of today's mania for "political correctness," where editorial failure to convey the right message guarantees a communal abhorrence once reserved for lepers and all things unclean.

So surf the turf, but note that this site may be graphically challenging for some systems with slower connect speeds. ISDN and Cable Modem folks should have no prob.

Suggestions, contributions, and corrections all appreciated. This site is a work in constant progress. Remember: if it was printed on paper, it's a candidate for the Pulp Morgue.
