I didn't manage to make it to this game, so Paul has generously provided his own quirky vision of what-all went on. From the looks of it, I picked exactly the wrong week to have my parents visit... BRT
Since we didn't have Bruce to write a session summary, I thought I'd give a quick synopsis of Sunday's game for the edification of all, especially Tim and Bruce, who weren't there.
Liam (Chuck) is hurt and extremely low on blood, so he decides to feed in the Ad Hoc club. This leads to a blood bath, three dead people, and cops all over our territory.
Meanwhile, Allen (Paul) checks out the electronics warehouse associated with the Science Ninja Murder Death Squad. He finds crates of guns and vats of acid with bodies dissolving in them. Yuck.
By the time Allen gets back, Liam is hiding out, and Oliver Bradford (Dan) has showed up and is inspecting the area. Oliver and Allen check out the crime scene, then go hunting for Liam.
Liam, meanwhile, has hunted around and found someone who looks reasonably like him, except for a beard. He abducts the poor fellow, shaves him with a sword, switches clothes with him, feeds him some vamp blood, and sends him out to meet the cops. Crisis averted for now.
A night or two later: Malcolm (the nervous Tremere) comes by with a video of the interrogation of the Fomori punks. The characters learn these guys have something to do with werewolves.
Asking around, the characters learn that the evil arcades are within the territory of Kenneth Vaughn, a Gangrel. Before doing anything rash, they talk to the Sheriff and Kenneth. The sheriff seems glad they checked in with him, and cautions against pyrotechnics. Kenneth wants to take a few nights to research the problem.
Back at the old lair, they find that Majid (the leader of the wyrm-tainted Death Squad) has left a telephone message asking to meet with the characters. Sound like a death trap? You bet!
The characters go, for no readily apparent reason, to meet a spooky Toreador who has a bevy of mind-controlled servants to do everything for him, including speak. He grills the characters regarding the ex-ghouls who were selling vampires. Oliver guesses that he is in the market for buying vampires. Liam makes an offensive remark just before leaving. Allen feels relieved to escape with his unlife.
The characters meet with Kenneth again. They learn that Majid is living over one of the arcades. He has two older boys who probably have interesting abilities. One of them can sense when obfuscated vamps are near.
Kenneth plans to move in with as many Gangrel and ghouls as he can muster, and kill Majid and his army. The characters beg for the chance to kidnap Majid first. Kenneth graciously lets the characters do this, even offers some Gangrels to help. The characters take two Gangrel, Marty and (somebody).
The characters tail Majid to a bar. Oliver goes inside and tells Majid some punks are trashing his car. When Majid gets outside, he finds lots of people with guns. Majid agrees to get in the character's car and accompany them. Allen drives Majid's sports car behind Oliver's car, and Liam follows in a motorcycle.
Majid seems concerned that Oliver is a cop, but as he begins to figure out that he is not, Majid begins growing bigger and hairier. Oliver yells to stop the car, and jumps out of it. Majid rips off the roof of the car and begins tearing up the Gangrel. Liam blows up the gas tank of the car. Majid is now visibly a twisted mutated looking werewolf, standing in a flaming car wreck.
Oliver and Liam pelt the wolf with bullets while one of the gangrel attacks his face in bat-form. Allen shoots Majid's sports car, making the werewolf mad. Majid jumps onto the hood of his car. Allen throws on the accelerator and slams into Oliver's burning car. Majid flies over the wreckage and lands behind the car. Still getting shot, Majid decides to take off. He jumps to a nearby roof and runs away. The characters drive away in Majid's car.
Upon further examination, Majid's car has no engine. Instead it has a huge tongue with a layer of acid and decaying human parts on top. Majid calls the characters and offers a truce. The characters brush him off, knowing that Kenneth is going to raid him soon. The characters stock up on silver bullets.
