Most of the session was spent on the last two turns of the Year in Hegger Matrix Game, covering the High and Low Hot Seasons of 855. The remainder was spent as a discussion among the characters of what they should do after the end of the Low Hot Season.
Everyone was here: Bob (Yordan), Chris (Pawnbroker), Doug (Boromir), Mike (Messerbad), Nick (Mungo), and Tim (Laerynthe). Everyone except for Ray was present for the first part of the Year in Hegger Matrix Game, so Ray was assigned "Everyone" as a Nemesis.

Near the end of the Low Hot Season, the characters spent a sweltering evening sitting in a jaya house in Hegger around a large pot of chilled jaya, arguing about what they wish to do. Most argued in favor of destroying Vlad, or at the least attempting to find a way to severely harm him. Spearchucker revealed that he once worked in Vlad's service, and told the characters about what he knows of Vlad's people. Specific tidbits he mentioned:
The characters eventually decided that the best plan is to go to the Second Plateau and attempt to cut Vlad off from the Makers by destroying the Great Lifter. In particular, the characters were interested in the amount of time the Makers need to repair a break in one of their metal roads. They also talked about trying to recruit the Skin Adapoi (who are good at Earth and Stone magics) to fight against the Makers.
However, Yordan decided that he did not wish to accompany the rest of them. He was convinced that his current efforts would provide a bigger eventual payoff, and possibly make it easier for the characters to make even greater inroads against Vlad in the future.
