Following the conclusion of his successful Highthrone campaign, Paul has started a campaign set in the Wizards of the Coast world of Eberron. House Tharashk owns the Mark of Finding, and from its heartland in the dismal, humid Shadow Marches it sends out skilled and organized teams of Bounty Hunters. They unerringly call upon their hard-learned talents and magical powers to seek and capture all manner of out-laws and bandits, bringing fame and wealth to their House.
And then there's us. Maybe someday, we will live up to that noble ideal. Until then, it's helpful to have alternative talents to make ends meet.

Above: Skilled Bounty Hunters at Work: (L to R) Xim, Grenville, Kurgash, Thaiphong and Silharath.

Above: Secheck Decides to Abandon the Samurai Lifestyle.
Thaiphong and Silharath demonstrate their practical life skills.
| Character | Player | Race | Class | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Grenville Temban d'Tharashk | Bruce | Human | Bard | A younger son of a House Tharashk factor, educated as a Bard on the strength of his Mark of Finding. Leader of the group, and not yet sure if this is a promotion or a punishment. |
| Kurgash d'Tharashk | Ernest | Orc | Barbarian | A childhood friend of Grenville's. His ancestors have been stout defenders of House Tharashk for generations. He is still quite youthful, but he has already committed remarkable deeds. Only last week, he returned from the Demon Wastes and ate an entire camel. |
| Secheck | Billy | Kobold | Rogue | Secheck has never had any patience for those who consider him to be a samurai attack gecko, especially since his new Spark doesn't look anything like his old one. He is sly, quick and wiry, and doesn't hesitate to let careless Bigs know that he thinks nothing of chewing off toes to make a point. |
| Silharath | Tim | Kalashtar | Ranger | Nobody really knows how Silharath came to end up in Zarash'ak. Now that he has arrived, he has wasted no time in developing a truly spooky reputation.
Killed 03/06/2005 by a Gibbering Mouther! |
| Lungpuncture | Tim | Warforged | Cleric | He's practically indestructible, and he collects skulls. Fortunately, he is also quite able to heal the various hurts of the squishy races.
Reincarnated 06/25/2005 into a dwarf! |
| Thaiphong | Chris | Bugbear | Fighter | It is hard to believe that something so large and so ferocious could be so stealthy, but Thaiphong manages it. Alarmist members of the group suggest that he is only an adolescent, and still has quite a growth spurt ahead of him.
Retired on 06/26/2005 to run the Fallen Angel |
| Xim | Chuck | Changeling | Cleric | Xim is even more mysterious than Silharath, but much, much more practical. Everyone laughed when he made himself look like a withered old woman. Everyone cried when he changed into a gangly young man. Everyone got very, very twitchy when he discussed the maximum possible limit of his powers.
Killed 03/06/2005 by a Gibbering Mouther! |
| Ashe | Chuck | Half-Elf | Fighter; Rogue | When other folk call Ashe a freaky chain-wielding miscreant, he doesn't lash out in anger. He preens with pride! And he points out that he is skilled in a reach weapon that gets bonuses to both disarm and trip.
Killed 05/01/2005 by a sorcerer's Lightning Bolt! |
| Graf | Chuck | Warforged | Fighter | He was just a little bit too late on the scene to participate in the Great War, but now that he has found his way out of the Mournlands he has a chance to demonstrate his passion for puppetry for the rest of us. |
