Photos of my 1995 Trip to Europe

John, a friend of mine, and I decided over Christmas 1994 to take a trip to Europe. We scheduled enough vacation for 18 days of travel, bought rugsacks, airline tickets and Eurail passes, and boarded the plane on August 31.

Probably my best investment for the trip was a Samsung point-n-shoot 35-115mm zoom lens camera. Previously, I had not done much photography, but spending $200 on a camera motivated me to read a couple photography books. I decided to use the trip to Europe as a test case to see if I enjoyed photography. These pages contain digital version of a small percentage of the photos I snapped on that trip.

I did enjoy photography. It's become a hobby, and I bought the new Canon Elan II with a 35-135mm f/4.0-5.6 zoom. Other pages here display some of the photos I've taken with the Canon.

Each Europe page has 4-6 photos at 4K-8K each.
