With only one requirement, that members be over 50 years old, you can imagine the variety of playing experiences found among the New Horizons Band members. For some, the last time they played was in junior high or high school and then there's a bunch who last played in their college bands. There are also a few who have been playing throughout their lives. Let's not forget those ambitious folks who are fulfilling a life-long desire to play an instrument and have just begun playing with us. Our members come from all walks of life. |
